English For Academic Purpose

English for Academic Purposes (EAP) will give you the confidence to participate in an English-speaking lecture environment, as well as give you the study tools you need to excel! Be fully prepared for the academic challenges of an Australian college or university. Discuss interesting and educational topics in the classroom, and learn to communicate ideas effectively through public speaking, presentations, debate, and essay writing.

The EAP course has 3 levels and each level consists of 12 weeks. Details of each level are given in the following table:

ASSESSMENT
Summative test every 4 weeks testing speaking, writing, listening and reading.
ENTRY REQUIREMENT
You must be at least 18 years of age at the time of course commencement.

EAP 2: In order to qualify for this course, prospective students must achieve an Upper Intermediate level on a pre-entry test, pass the General English Upper Intermediate level, or present an IELTS score, or accepted equivalent, of 5.5 – 6.0.

EAP 3: In order to qualify for this course, prospective students must achieve an Advanced level on a pre-entry test, pass the General English Advanced level, or present an IELTS score, or accepted equivalent, of 6.0 – 6.5.
